Chances are that if you are looking to buy a new baby stroller that you have encountered Maclaren strollers at least once in your searches. And if you passed them over, for whatever reason, you may want to take a second look as they are known to be some of the best strollers on the market. They offer a variety of convenient to use strollers from lightweight on the go type strollers to the sturdy and comfortable Cadillac of baby strollers. While most people pay the full asking price that the Maclaren strollers demand, the truth is that you can find them pretty cheap if you know where to look
You see, Maclaren is a very popular brand that has adopted a sort of fashion/stylistic approach to their strollers. This means that they are seen as a status symbol, and as such they have to keep a fresh appearance by changing their designs from time to time. This makes the older strollers obsolete and so rather than losing money on them many stores will offer them at a discount. And just by searching for a Maclaren stroller clearance, you should be able to find many different Maclaren strollers to fit your budget.
There is one thing that I need to caution you on however. Back in 2006 these strollers did have a recall in which several children had their fingers pinched in the hinge of certain strollers. Maclaren quickly fixed the problem with a simple cover but because you are searching on older strollers it’s important to verify that the cover is still there. Granted this is a long shot since most clearance sales are on strollers that are maybe 3 years old. But it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t warn of you that, no matter how small of a chance it is.
