It is important to keep in mind that disposable diapers and cloth diapers are two different things. It also follows that packing them inside a baby diaper bag is also done differently. Are you using cloth diapers for your baby? If so, you must follow this short guide on preparing a diaper bag when you are using cloth diapers.

1.       Prepare your baby wipes, two plastic bags, extra clothing for your baby, diaper changing pad, cloth diapers and one clean shirt. Know how long your trip will be with your baby. Doing so can help you determine how many diapers you will be packing into your diaper bag. Bring a few extra clothes for your baby. It is would be best of you over pack things rather than under packing them to avoid running out of supplies.

2.       Once this is done, your baby’s clothes, wraps and diapers must be folded in a neat manner. Slowly place them one by one into the baby diaper bag in an organized manner and also in a sequence on how they will be used. The items which tend to be used the most be placed on top while those less likely to be used should be placed at the bottom.

3.       Remember to place the diaper changing pad on the top part of the bag; it is very useful when changing your baby’s diapers. As for the diaper pins or snapi’s, you can place them inside the diaper bag’s inner pockets. Don’t forget to place the baby wipes in an easy to access location for they tend to be used frequently. You plastic bags and wet bag must be placed in one of the pockets inside your baby diaper bag. Make sure that you have one separate bag for soiled diapers and used clothing and one for used wipes as well.

You see, it is actually very easy to pack a diaper bag even if you are using cloth diapers. Just follow the guidelines above and you’ll be fine.
