Why I use a Baby Sleeping Bag

Does your baby go bananas when you try and lay him down in a strange bed? Does it always seem like a fight to go to bed whenever you are not home? Some people suggest babies have this problem because they are not comfortable with their surroundings and are nervous.

One way to combat this problem is to get your baby in a routine. Since babies don’t have a clue about time they need cues to tell them what to do next or what is coming next. One of these cues may be to get breast feed before going to bed every night. Another cue may be that when they get in their baby sleeping bag they know it is time to sleep.

This is why I love my baby’s sleeping bag. We have gotten our baby in a routine and he is comfortable sleeping in his baby sleeping bag every night. He knows that when he gets in his bag it is time to go to bed.

Not only does this help when my baby goes to his grandma’s house but also helps at home. The combination of the routine and the sleep sack acting as a cue we rarely have issues with our little boy going to sleep.

Not only does this act as cue but it also keeps our little boy nice and warm. He is quite the little mover while he sleeps and to keep blankets on him during the night would be impossible. He usually sleeps through the entire night because he can stay nice and warm.

We decided to get an organic cotton 4 seasons in one baby sleep bag. It has worked beautifully and we love it. We can remove the liner when it gets too warm and snap it back in place when it is cooler.
